Our Citrus Holiday series continues as we introduce Christmas Dining Room, with eight new tutorials plus a how-to on setting a citrus-themed table. From a lemony tablecloth beset with red bows to boldly patterned placemats, funky letter bead napkin ties, and the dreamiest-ever apron; you'll serve up a meal to remember. Whether you're dining with family or a group of friends, our sparkling Christmas table really sets the mood for a relaxing meal. A radiant tablecloth provides the perfect foundation. And, there's no need for an expensive floral centerpiece when you use bowls of zesty citrus fruits, an eclectic selection of serving pieces and memory-filled vintage decorations. Our table is set for a simple breakfast, yet it overflows with holiday cheer.

Our Fabulous Fabric: Heather Bailey's Pop Garden & Bijoux

Heather Bailey's Pop Garden & Bijoux are coordinated collections from Free Spirit Fabric, and we love them as holiday fabrics. The colors are perfect with our citrus theme and invite our additions of jolly tassels and rick rack. Pop Garden & Bijoux are made up of three colorways: Poppy Leaf, Butterrose and Sugar Mallow; we selected fabrics from all three. With these sister collections, you can really mix and match endlessly, so take a look at the full selection by clicking on the above links and choose your favorites.

Citrus Holiday: The Dining Room Tutorials

Fussy Cut PlacematsYou don't have to be fussy to appreciate the impact achieved by cutting fabric to feature a specific motif. It takes a bit more yardage, but the results are truly spectacular!
Easy Napkins with Festive TrimClassic and simple, these napkins are ivory with a tile-patterned trim. They are elegant on their own, but gracefully allow our placemats to take center stage.
Napkin Ties with Letter Bead NamesPlain red ties are festooned with inexpensive letter beads to mark everyone's place at the table. Put the kids to work stringing beads.
Setting a Citrus-Themed TableA bowl of citrus fruit is so unassumingly beautiful that you don't really need to do much more to create a lovely and welcoming table. We add lemony linens plus our own personal vintage decorations for a table that looks like a million bucks.
Lemon Zest TableclothThis table cloth casts a sunny glow on everything around it. It's encircled with a red band, corner bows and ivory drop panels to frame your enchanting table.
Christmas Morning Table Runner. Use this festive runner on your table, or as we did, on the buffet. Trimmed in rick rack with a tassel at each end, it coordinates beautifully with our Lemon Zest Tablecloth.
Hostess Apron with Dreamy Bow. You'll be the belle of the dining room in this sensational apron. With a flattering side bow and and a flirty ruffled skirt, you won't want to take it off.
Quick Patchwork Trim Tea TowelsUpscale a set of plain white dish cloths into delightful and gift-worthy tea towels using little scraps of fabric and jumbo rick rack.
